"The Color Cabaret started out as a chance for our BIPOC students in the School of Music, Dance and Theatre to showcase their passions unapologetically, without having to ask for permission. Now, it has become an anticipated tradition of hope, vulnerability, and freedom within this program. We have forged a community of artists who courageously stand out and stand up for under-appreciated and discriminated groups; where we can all tell our stories, learn of our beautiful similarities and differences, and create long lasting change.
